Whether you’re advocating for yourself, others or both, often times advocating for any cause can be flooded with negativity. The way I deal with the negativity that’s thrown my way, is through exercise and creativity. Earlier this year I relaunched my old radio show which used to air on FM radio in Toronto into a podcast. For me it’s been a life saver through the COVID-19 pandemic. I also wrote earlier this year how the electronic dance music sector is paving the way for social change regarding disability rights around the globe.
Above is my latest creation. Trance music is very much like classical music. It’s a mood setter, and meant to guide you through an emotional journey. Being a trance DJ is very much like being a conductor of a symphony. Out of all the electronic dance music genre, Trance is the hardest to mix and get right. It’s not just about filling the dance floor. This particular episode I embedded below I’m very proud of. It’s a blend of positive, love, and bass thumping tunes that by the end of the two hours is guaranteed to put you in a positive mood for the rest of the day.
Aside from a font mistake in the video – podbean came out as “poobean” in the font I was using – the video came out pretty good. Apparently the “D” in this font looks like an “O”, it was uploaded before I caught the mistake. I left it in there just to get people smiling.
If you’d like to subscribe free to my podcast, my home page is located on podbean here or on Amazon Music here, and of course through YouTube. I hope you enjoy, and remember to take sometime for yourselves, and smile.
